The Perfume Shop successfully trials POP Retail’s new kiosk, offering high street retailers an easy and engaging platform for pop-up activity
POP Retail is pleased to announce the launch of a new digital pop-up retail kiosk. The digital Mobile Retail Kiosk (MRK) has integrated screens for retailers to rotate offers and post videos while also offering ample display opportunities to showcase products.
The UK’s largest fragrance retailer, The Perfume Shop, has already used the new kiosk for pop-up shops in both London and Birmingham. To celebrate 25 years on the high street, The Perfume Shop sold its best-selling scents and offerings from designer brands, giving busy commuters the chance to browse the latest launches.
Nikki Bates, The Perfume Shop’s Sales and Operations Director said: “The launch of our pop-up shops in both London Paddington Station and Birmingham New Street Station was really exciting. We are on a mission to take perfume to the people and we felt that this festive period was the perfect time to trial ‘on the go’ travel stores. We were pleased with the response from commuters and found the popularity of product lines differed depending on the venue.”
Andrew Keiller, Client Services Director of the SpaceandPeople Group, says of the new POP Mobile Retail Kiosk: “The new POP Retail digital kiosk has been well received by many high street retailers who have been introduced to the concept. It offers brands an easy-to-use platform for short-term pop-up retail activity, with the digital screens displaying branding and offers to support sales activity. We are looking forward to rolling out more of these kiosks into our venues next year.
